Questions parents ask
Which cities does Gcity cover?
Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar (including GIFT City) and Vadodara, for home tuition. Online tuition works from anywhere.
Is there a fee for parents?
No. There is no charge for matching, and your first class with the tutor you choose is a free demo class. After that, you agree the tuition fee directly with your tutor.
How does Gcity find a tutor for my child?
Tell us your city, area, your child's class and the subject. In Vadodara, you see tutors near you right after you submit and can send a request to the ones you like. In Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, a Gcity coordinator looks for tutors close to you, shares them with you on WhatsApp, and arranges a free demo class with the tutor you choose.
How does Gcity check its tutors?
A Gcity coordinator speaks personally with every tutor before they are matched with any family. Everything on a tutor's profile is what they have told us themselves, so we recommend meeting them in the free demo class and asking about their qualifications before you decide.
Can I ask for a female tutor?
Yes. Mention it when you contact us and we will share female tutors near you wherever available, at no extra charge.
Do you offer online tuition?
Yes. Many Gcity tutors teach online as well as at home, which also helps when a subject specialist is not available near you.
