We will never ask for your bank account, UPI PIN, an OTP, or any password — not while you register, and not afterwards. If anyone claiming to be from Gcity asks for these, it isn't us. Tell us straight away on WhatsApp.
Before you start
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Registration is free and there is no charge for receiving student enquiries. Gcity charges a service fee only once you have a confirmed student, and your coordinator explains it to you before any match is finalised. Nothing is hidden and nothing is deducted without you knowing.
What do I need to register?
Your WhatsApp number, an email address, the subjects and classes you teach, and the areas you can travel to. A clear photo of your face helps parents trust you — you can add it during registration or send it on WhatsApp later, but we need one before your page goes live.
How long does it take?
About five minutes across three short screens. If you have to stop halfway, your answers are saved — come back later and enter the same mobile number to continue where you left off.
Do I have to teach at the student's home?
Not necessarily. You choose home tuition, online, or both, and you choose which areas you're willing to travel to. We only send you enquiries that fit what you've told us.
What if I'm already busy with other students?
You set how many students you can take. When you're full, we stop sending enquiries automatically and your page shows that you're not currently taking students. Switch back whenever you have space.
Can I teach competitive exam students like NEET or JEE?
Yes. If you teach Class 11–12 subjects, you can tell us during registration whether you also prepare students for NEET or JEE. It's always your own choice — we never assume it from your subjects.
